DESIGN PROCESS

Building upon your wants and needs, our three-step design process creates a partnership that will result in a design of your space that you and your family will love!

Step 1

On Property Consultation and Walk-Though

Focused on you! What is your vision and need for your home and property?
- During this visit, it is beneficial to have examples of things you like or have seen that you could see in your space
Walk-through to gather measurements and photos of the existing space
- We will also be looking to see if elevation/grade measurements will be needed to support your project

Step 2

We Get To Work and You Get to Review Along the Way

We will use an iterative design process to further refine the project and make recommendations on possible design options

Design Phase 1 – Big Picture
- During this phase, we will focus on your wants and needs and bring them to life
  - You will receive the rough plan that has been developed for your thought and discussion before we meet up in preparation for Design Phase 2
    - This will be accomplished in each phase through:
      - 2D Plans/Overviews
      - 3D Rendering Video
  - We will sit down to review the design to ensure you are happy with the rough plan, making any needed adjustments in preparation for Design Phase 2
    - Feel free to bring any additional sources of inspiration with you to show us

Design Phase 2 – Moving from Big Picture to Small Details
- During this phase, we are focused on moving to the details
- We will draw on the inspirations found from our in-home visit and Design Phase 1 discussions
  - Once we have developed enough detail in your plan, you will receive them for your review before we meet
  - We will sit down to review the details we have put in, making any needed adjustments in preparation for Design Phase 3
    - Depending on the size and scope of the project, we may need to meet again to ensure we are capturing everything important to you

Design Phase 3 – Small Details to Complete Clarity
- During this phase, we are focused on wrapping the design up in preparation for your planning and execution with your contractor
- We will provide you with the 2D and 3D plan recommendations and renderings needed to showcase your vision and aid in bringing it to reality

Step 3

Moving from a Vision to Reality

You are ready to plan and communicate your vision to others with ease
It is important to remember that your contractor has the final design responsibility and direction for your project. After talking with your contractor, if there are changes or more information required based on our recommendations, please do not hesitate to reach back out to us
- We are also happy to work directly with your contractor
